JAM-E JAM in its commentary headlined “Turkey Threatens to Break off Relations with Zionists” says that Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has warned in the case Tel Aviv refuses to apologize for the killing of Turkish civilians, Ankara will break off its diplomatic ties with the regime. He voiced his position in response to the recent statements declared by the extremist Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, who has said his government would never apologizes over the issue and would not pay compensation to the families of victims. The Turkish daily Hurriyet quoted Davutoglu as having said that Israel must apologize and accept the results of ‘international investigation committee’ on the issue. Davutoglu emphasized his country has closed all its airspace on Israeli jet fighters and probably would do so for civil planes as well. Turkey last week closed its airspace for two military planes of the Zionist regime.
EBTAKAR in its editorial entitled “UAE, Implementation of Resolutions or Unison with West” says shortly after the adoption of the Resolution 1929 against Iran, the UAE, in a psychological war, embarked on an embargo of Iranian firms active in the country. The U.S., for urging other countries to impose sanctions, needs mental war, and the UAE, during the last two years, have been the forerunner for the implementation of three previous UN sanctions against the interest of Iranian companies, nationals, tourists and passengers. The UAE and other littoral states of the Persian Gulf in their foreign policy have been facing with an important paradox. On the one hand they are committed to strategic, security and military relations with the West and on the other their policies toward the Islamic Republic over the last three decades have been hostile. During this period, in various regional and international forums the UAE has been claiming ownership over three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf.
MARDOMSALARI in an article headlined “Unity, the Secret Behind Passing Through Obstacles” writes with the death of Allamah Fadallah once again the global attention is being focused on Lebanon but this time it is quite different. Even though he was considered as the stubborn enemy of the Zionist entity and the United States but most of his struggle traces back to the 1975-1990 civil war in Lebanon. At that crucial juncture, Imam Mousa Sadr, who had a deep understanding of the condition of Shiites who were living in desperate condition, initiated solidarity among the Muslims. He was a religious intellectual who could demonstrate flexibility to compromise with other leaders of Lebanon. After the abduction in Libya of Imam Mousa Sadr, his role was automatically transferred to Allamah Fadallah.
